1993 BMW 325is #242
James Packer's NASA Spec3 road course rocket.
This E36 M50 coupe joined our fleet in July 2007. It was a well cared for, and pretty much bone stock,
daily driver from Pennsylvania. Soon thereafter it was gutted and prepped for a serious roll cage. All
the spec parts were then bolted on, as well as the remaining safety items, and the car's maiden race
was in June 2008. It has proven to be reliable and competitive - it raced a full NASA Mid-Atlantic
season in 2009 with James behind the wheel, won the Spec3 championship, and only posted one DNF
(broken OEM clutch - untouched since the prior owner had it replaced years ago.) James is looking
forward to another year of fun with this great car in 2010!
